Tales of Thread: Synchronity Chain Edition!

I've been playing Tales of Destiny 2 again recently, which has raised my Tales of fandomness meter back up to hyper again. I love the characters *coughnanalycough* but I'm not a big fan of ToD2's battle system, hence why I don't list it among my favorite games in the series. I guess that its because I drain my attack bar too quickly. -_-

Anyway, this thread is all about discussing this wonderful series. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Tales of is an RPG series published by Namco Bandai and developed by Namco Tales Studio. The battle system for each game is reminiscent of fighting games, and is known as the Linear Motion Battle System (LMBS). The majority of the games have been 2D. The first game in the series was Tales of Phantasia, released in Japan for the SNES in 1995. Ever since then the Tales series has enjoyed great success in Japan, and is considered to be one of the top series in the genre in the country. Sadly the series hasn't had the same success outside of its native country. Only a handful of games have been officially released in English. Luckily there are some groups *coughphantasianproductionscough* that have been willing to translate some of the games into English.

Tales of Vesperia (PS3), Tales of Graces (Wii), and Tales of VS (PSP) are slated for a release in Japan later this year. Tales of Graces has already been confirmed to be receiving a localization by a leaked magazine scan of Nintendo Power's June issue. Yay! I really hope that the PS3 port of Vesperia and VS make it over here too. Vesperia's port was the final game that made me finally want a PS3, and Tales of VS looks just flat out awesome.

Maybe I should buy PS 3 too but I am too lazy since playing it since it should using special TV -_-

Yep, and it's very expensive. I have a PSP, but it's broken. UGH, I have to tell my brother about this! -_-

PSP eh.. It's easy to broken. I prefer NDS more

It's not out on ps3 yet, and the ps3 one is kinda like a director's cut since the ps3 one has extra permanent characters new ougi's and titlesan and a extended storyline.

I've already played the 360 version, but i'll import this when its released if no localization occurs
